For the 10th Anniversary of WonderFruit 2025, ADRUNNOGNT collaborated with the WonderFruit Structure Team on Awaken Amnesia Mole 2025, a handmade installation inspired by mole nests. The sound installation features over 60 speakers—including horn speakers and DIY tube speakers—presenting sound works created from field recordings collected between 2019 to 2025 at the WonderFruit fields.
This sound installation consists of recorded audio that is reversed and reassembled to form an ambient soundscape emerging from the sounds themselves. As listeners step into a constructed wooden nest resembling a mole’s burrow, they encounter strange and unfamiliar sounds interwoven with recordings taken from the real environment. Within this space, the layered sounds create an immersive experience, inviting listeners to follow an emotional narrative shaped by the natural qualities and sensations of sound in that location.
**This sound installation features tube speakers that transmit sound through transparent tubes coiled around a wooden, nest-like framework. Visitors are invited to move through the structure and listen at designated points where the tubes end in cone-shaped openings.
