This sound installation series consists of two pieces of sound art. The first piece resembles a sound work contained within a wooden box, the size of which is equivalent to a 12 x 12-inch vinyl record sleeve. Inside the box is an audio player with headphones wiring out of the wooden box, allowing the audience to listen to the sound from headphones. The sound is music from the 1960s, which I accidentally slowed down, it's making the familiar tunes commonly heard in Thailand sound. This reduction in playback speed creates the impression of entering another world that the audience has without realizing it.

The second piece is a sound installation featuring a pair of 1970s-era speakers suspended from the ceiling above the staircase leading to the exhibition. The sound is played through an amplifier and is another piece of 1960s music that has been slowed down. The resulting sound creates an ambient atmosphere that permeates the entire exhibition area, which is dimly lit even during the daytime. This sound work also interacts with the works of other artists participating in the exhibition.

Supported by Goethe-Institut Thailand and WTF Gallery.
